Euddeum Kim, a blogger in South Korea, has traveled to India and sustained a growing interest in the people and lifestyle of this country. Kim is very passionate about sharing his affinity for Indian culture with others, and holds a particular fascination for the way trash is contained and reused in order to reduce the amounts of garbage found on the streets. This interest is what led Kim to Holstee, specifically our Upcycled Wallet series, and inspired him to introduce our products to the Korean community via his blog.
Many of Kim’s followers and supporters are interested in fair trade and eco-friendly products, two currently rising issues in Korea, and from there Kim began a wholesale connection with Holstee, first by ordering 50 wallets, and following up with a second increased order of 100 wallets. Kim gave us some statistics, saying that many customers referred to the wallets aesthetic properties, as well as the influence to buy based on both design quality and social value. Awesome!
Hoping to eventually become an official retailer and distributor for Holstee in South Korea, we are both honored and excited for this partnership and the positive and expanding route it’s followed thus far!
