Shopify Meetup Success!

We wanted to shoot out a huge thanks to everyone that escaped the rain with us at this Tuesday’s Shopify meetup at the Holstee office! As always, we were in awe of the diverse creative personalities that showed up and the sheer array of products they made, from Skinny Vinny’s handmade bags and accessories to Belle’s beautifully painted bike helmets. 

We were also lucky to have a few standout speakers join us, including Brennan Loh and Harley Finkelstein from Shopify (Head of Business Development and Chief Platform Officer, respectively) and Devin Guinn from Fab (Director of Merchandising - Specialty Products). They all spoke on the topic of distribution and how to most effectively handle customer relationships, designer relationships, and increase sales by leveraging them. 

Big shoutout to the Shopify team for surprising us with an ice cream truck in the middle of the meetup. COOLHAUS made an awesome appearance despite the rainy conditions and satisfied us with a sweet dessert to wash down all the newfound knowledge with.
